Katlin specializes in Blue-Chip Canadian Fine Art honed through her industry experience working in auction houses, art consulting firms, commercial galleries, art fairs, and arts publishing. Through client engagement and advisory practices, she is passionate about assisting clients build and protect their collections.


Bringing nearly a decade of combined experience in the consulting and auction industries, she was a Canadian Art Specialist at one of Canada’s leading auction houses and a Senior Art Consultant at a leading Toronto-based full-service art consulting firm working on both private and corporate accounts. She brings a wealth of market knowledge to her appraisal practice.
Having completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa, majoring in History and Theory of Art, she earned her Master’s in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London, UK, in 2015 where she tailored her studies to the trends and idiosyncrasies of the Canadian art market. Her Master’s Dissertation explored how global megabrands could impact the perception of regional art markets through primary research and analysis of the Canadian auction market. With this in-depth exploration, her findings enrich her professional practice with sound art market research and analysis in providing detailed appraisal and market data reports.
Katlin earned her Accredited Member status in 2022 after extensive appraisal hours and rigorous coursework and examinations in the Appraisal of Fine Art ISA specialty course. She is an agile appraiser bringing a high caliber of market research to her appraisal reports with sound quantitative and qualitative data to support valuation findings. In addition to appraisals for insurance coverage and estate planning for private HNW and UHNW collectors, institutional and corporate collections, she also has extensive experience providing detailed CCPERB donation appraisals, working with leading art institutions across Canada. With strong relationships and partnerships with industry stakeholders, Katlin provides a holistic approach to building and protecting your collection.
