Collection management is the ongoing stewardship, organization, and documentation of a collection to ensure its long-term preservation, accessibility, and value. More than record keeping, it provides collectors with a clear understanding of their holdings while supporting insurance, appraisals, loans, conservation, acquisitions, and estate planning.
At Rogers Art Advisory, we use a secure, cloud-based collection management platform to catalogue and organize all aspects of a collection, including high-resolution images, provenance, invoices, condition reports, loan agreements, and related records. This agile system allows for real-time updates and streamlined access to important collection information.
